I recently spoke to Rick DellaRatta with Jazz for Peace. Rick is a fellow Italian New Yorker (Yeah!), and musician. He is a singer/songwriter and is fascinating. He explained how Jazz for Peace has grants, and the work they have done in Africa. And - we had the pleasure of listening to him play some original music.
