On Episode 6, The Beauties sit down with guest, Cecilia V, to discuss the holiday blues.

The holiday season is well underway. October rolled in and we began to see both Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations in stores inviting patrons to fill their homes with cheer. There is one question though, how about those whose season is filled with sadness because they don’t have anyone to share that time with or because the season comes with reminders of loss? What do we about those feelings? Who do we turn to for help? Episode 6 of Chatting with The Beauties will discuss some of those feelings as well as give you some tips on how to deal with the holiday blues.

On Episode 5, The Beauties sit down with guest, Kenny J, to discuss the importance of men's empowerment.

Self Care. Two very simple words however how many of us can actually say that we know the definition and actually practice it. Self care can be defined in various ways however the ultimate definition as described by the Merriam Webster dictionary is “caring for ones self”.

The Beauties have discovered the importance of not just physical self care but mental and spiritual self care as well. In this episode we share our top self care tips in hopes that our listeners will also make that discovery and take some time throughout the day to love on themselves.

Always remember you cannot pour from an empty cup!

On episode 3 we are discussing PCOS. September is PCOS Awareness month, also know as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. Polycystic ovary syndrome is a health problem that affects 1 in 10 women of childbearing age. Women with PCOS have a hormonal imbalance and metabolism problems that may affect their overall health and appearance. PCOS is also a common cause of infertility. We switched things up a little on this episode, Amanda interviewed Monique and Monica who were both currently diagnosed with PCOS. Recording this episode was very emotional for everyone, we literally laughed and cried while Monique and Monica shared their journeys.
