As we navigate through life, we have many decisions to make. God's Word is filled with the principles we need to make wise choices. As we take steps in making our decisions we need to look at Proverbs 4:26 "Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established"

Before the foundation of the world, before everything that took place in Genesis, God had you in mind from the beginning. If you are one who sometimes feels like your life doesn't matter - remember God is on your side. Meditate on the 5 truths that are in Psalm 139.

" Proverbs 18:21: “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Our words either launch life or they deliver death. Everything you have said this week either assassinated someone or breathed life into the people around you.

There are some folks that say the Human adult tongue is specialized for speaking. The way that it is designed allows for the tongue to help in saying all of the various vowels, consonants, and other sounds that help us to communicate regardless of what language we speak. Some have even given the tongue, the great title of The strongest muscle in the Body. How interesting it is that the strongest muscle in the Body is also the Hardest one to Tame. " Pastor Matt

The Wise and Foolish Builders

24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” Matthew 7:24-27

"Jesus was a carpenter by trade. He knew what it took to build a house. Jesus is the son of God and he is giving us this passage and telling us that the foundation is important: in our lives, in our family, in our careers, in our society and in our nation. Don't get caught up in your own reflection. We have value because we are a creation of God and He has a plan for our lives.

Proverbs 29:18 "Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction." "A vision is relative. What you see depends on your frame of mind. Vision in the moment or vision in the future. Without vision and knowledge of where you are going, you are going to parish. A church will have no vision with out faith. " Pastor Matt.
