Many times we go throughout life seeing things and even ourselves one way, however those in our lives have a different perspective and experience of us. This is an old statement but very true one, because when we don't do as such we put ourselves in a position that isn't necessary. We cause trouble that could have been avoided, as well as we could avoid negative experiences that if we just take a few moments and look within from without and reset before we make a mess. Sometimes all it takes is a few moments to look at how we should approach situations or how we should speak so that our words can bring life to someone or to the situation and make an impact on that person(s) life.
