Checkered cast is back to our primary format where Tara & Christine share their opinions & personal experiences being women involved in the music scene. This episode gets pretty heady as we address some serious issues that we try to offer advice support & feedback on how to improve show spaces for people because we care about making the #unitycommunity accepting open & safe. We discuss her introduction to ska, the early 90s music scene including riot girl & the womens indie rock movement, some of her experiences playing in bands as a professional musician, and talk about issues women face trying to make a name for themselves in the industry.
