In this week's sermon, we're diving back into the complex world of Tokyo Revengers. We'll explore the lessons we can learn from its protagonist, Takemitchy's struggle with the power and limitations of time travel, and how it reflects our own battles in life. Even if we can't go back 12 years to correct our past mistakes, there's a powerful and hopeful message in the midst of it all: Jesus is our hope for the future.

We explore these themes through the lens of 1 Corinthians 10:11-17, where Paul uses the past as a lesson for the present and future. We discuss how this biblical narrative ties in with Takemitchy's ongoing journey, his struggle with his past and future, and his effort to change the present.

Throughout this sermon, we also explore the importance of relationships and communion as a means to cultivate love and unity. Like Takemitchy, we learn from our history and use it for good, but we avoid focusing or obsessing over it. We're called to love God and love others, and communion is a tangible way we practice this.
