Updating the sentencing hearing on the man’s guilty plea to 10 offences of child pornography, firearms and sexual interference involving his three daughters. The Evansburg man admitted repeatedly sexually abusing the girls over a six-year period and twice allowing men he met online to sexually assault his eldest. He recorded one of the assaults. Victim impact statements were read in court in June and final sentencing submissions from the Crown and defence are expected on Monday, with a likely sentencing decision on Thursday. I believe the Crown is going to ask for a 29-year prison sentence.
