We aren't saved by our discipline or effort. Jesus alone saves us by His grace through faith. Thank God for that! But after we're saved, we are to follow Him wholeheartedly. Discipline becomes very important for our continued growth in godliness. Let's reflect together on 1 Timothy 4:8.

No matter what is going on in our lives or around us, we can know this truth -- God sees us! He understands our troubles much better than we do. He cares. Thus, we have reason to rejoice!
