We're born, pay taxes, and we die... I don't care for paying taxes. Do you? In this episode I unpack Matthew 22:15-22 and Jesus' teaching on giving to Caesar what is Caesar's and giving to God what is God's.
We're all born grabbing for more and we all pass away releasing our hands to leave it all behind. Are you seeking instead to have true godliness with contentment? The Bible says that's great wealth.

In this episode I go back to the basics. The bulk of my time is spent allowing the Word of God to speak to us on giving generously and cheerfully. I read 2 Corinthians 8 and 9 from the English Standard Version of the Holy Bible. My prayer is God's inspired Word speaks to you in greater depths and inspiration than I ever could.

I absolutely HATE paying my mortgage every month and can't wait to get rid of it. Unfortunately there are parts of my house that NEED to be repaired (such as the hole in the floor and leaking roof).
My wife and I live in this tense space between wanting to fix up the house and also agreeing on the need to pay extra on the mortgage.
This morning a father-son remodeling team showed up at my house to begin demolition.
Here's the bottom line: I never make a stupid decision. Every decision was the best decision based on what I knew at the time. This is true in all of life and in homeownership.
