It's a reunion of sorts at our neighborhood bar this week.  Andy Andy is back looking for Diane, Maggie is back looking for Cliff and Lilith is just plain looking around at other options. As we enter the final season of Cheers (and Cheers Weekly), several momentous occasions and incidents take center-stage. Like the bar burning down. Mr Pubbs. The big day has arrived as Woody and Kelly head to the altar to get hitched!  Carla, however, forsees disaster ahead. Sammy is convinced he has some innings left in his arm and joins the Red Sox minor league system.  But has the baseball life passed him by? Meanwhile, Rebecca meets up with an old college flame, convinced that he is the one that got away. Will Sammy pitch in the big leagues again?  Will Rebecca find true love with an old flame.  Will Frasier ever find Lilith's lab rat, Whiskers?  Order up some free beer on Kelly's tab and enjoy "Take Me Out of the Ball Game" and "Rebecca's Lover...Not"! Our beloved farmboy Woody goes international while Frasier attempts to drop a few pounds. Two great Rebecca Howe episodes that highlight the greatness of Kirstie Alley. First, Rebecca must navigate a major romantic crush from Woody's cousin from Florida (played by guest star Harry Connick Jr). Then Rebecca must deal with a liquor license issue that could threaten the bar's very existence. All that plus Cliff's new postal uniform and a fabulous introduction to poker for Woody.
