This is similar to the previous chemistry video, this time the reaction between Magnesium metal and white vinegar. It is difficult to see due to the light but the reaction is there. You can also see the resulting bubbles of Hydrogen Gas.

This is the reaction between a small piece of Magnesium Ribbon in a Conical Flask with some Citric Acid

Just used 3 or 4 small Spatulas, of citric acid powder.

I decided to try and build the longest straight chain I could from Molymods using Carbon, Hydrogen and the spacefill connectors

So 18 carbons gives, gives me

So I a related video fo phosphine. I have now made Diphosphane (P_2H_4), which is also cited on the same Wikipedia page, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phosphine.

Again substituting using a Nitrogen as I don't have Phosphorus in my Molymod set.

The gas Phosphine (PH_3 )has recently been discovered in the Atmosphere of the planet Venus, as Phosphine is associated with life, then this as excited scientists as to the prospect of finding some sort of life.

I am using Nitrogen here, but have been assured by STEMnet that this is acceptable to use in place of Phosphorus, as I don't have that atom available.

Another video in this series for my blog posts. I don't have enough Chlorine atoms in my model kit so have attached this to the polythene polymer and explained in my article you need to imagine that this is also made up of the Green Chlorine atoms.

Ok so following on, constructing a few plastics. starting with Polyethene, firstly I have made Ethene, as a monomer, and then added some more to may a Polymer.
