Podience, have you ever suffered an accusation labeling you too strident in your stubbornness or of being overly loyal? Taken or shelled out in appropriate doses, they can prove real virtues, but an overdose on either can manifest into the anesthetizing of a friendship, co-worker relationship or of your own sense of reliable direction. If you remain too stubborn, then you morph stubborn to stubburn, bridges, burn! You may burn a bridge, or several, if you remain stubborn in your approaches, actions and accusations. How will you retreat back to the other side of this metaphorical shore when your self-ignited conflagration renders your escape hatch of a bridge tattered and moot? Today, I will share a story of a stubborn hero, of sorts, I will dabble in the Korean, Vietnamese and Japanese cultures, and bless you with the unholy refreshment of not one, but two personal nuggets! Unwind, with me, the stubborn daily grind, until, like that cinder-riddled bridge, it is nothing but a distant memory. -Falsetto
