On April 26th 1986, the Chernobyl nuclear plant in Ukraine ruptured. It sent radiation into the atmosphere that spread across Europe, leaving an ongoing legacy of contamination, illness, death and displacement.Dr.Bill Williams (Medical Association for the Prevention of War) speaks on health impacts, Dave Sweeney (Australian Conservation Foundation) about the deal to sell uranium to Ukraine in light of conflict in the region and atomic photographer Jessie Boylan (Atomic Photographers Guild) asks Merilyn Fairskye how sites of nuclear disaster became a feature in her work.
