Scripture is clear about the job we have as Christians in this life: it's all about the Gospel. The disciples rejoiced at the honor of being persecuted for the sake of the gospel. By their example, we see the calling on our life; a call to be unashamed of the Gospel, to boldly share the Good News, and that the Gospel should be the driving force in our every day lives.

Acts 5:28-42 -- There are 3 ingredients that make up a powerful devotion to the Lord. Our story, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God. God has placed us here to preserve the moral good in the world, and without proper devotion, it's impossible to do so.
