Gloucester's young players made it two bonus point wins from two in the Premiership Cup with a win over a competitive and exciting Cornish Pirates side. Meanwhile England suffered late late heartbreak again, as they conceded an 84 minute try and were beaten by Australia at Twickenham.
It was a bad weekend for all the Home Nations as Scotland, Ireland and hilariously Wales were all beaten too. We chat through the games, the key issues and also whether any sporting autobiography is ever any good - particularly as Danny Care has dared to suggest Eddie Jones is a bit of a divisive figure (who knew?!)

Gloucester finished their first bank of league fixtures with a well deserved win over Newcastle Falcons. We chat through the game, the key performances and the most important thing a much improved defence.
We also discuss the frustration and feelings of a missed opportunity as England lose out to the All Blacks. It also was a week where the Haka was again brought into focus with some ill-advised comments from Joe Marler (who has announced his retirement from International Rugby).
Finally Jim and Ed run over the weekends results for Gloucester, opening their defence of the Premiership Cup against Hartpury, while Glos-Hartpury got back to winning ways against Sale.
Broken record time. Once again a superb first 40 with excellent tries and attacking play wasn't enough as Gloucester's second half woes continue away to Leicester in the Slater Cup. We chat through the match, the encouraging signs that some of the issues are starting to be resolved plus the frustration that some persist. We also discuss Glos-Hartpury's first home defeat in two seasons and how actually it might be a blessing in disguise.
Finally we go through the Women's Rugby World Cup groups, the tickets and the excellent planning that is behind the fixtures - before we preview the Newcastle fixture.

After a superb first 40 where the Cherry and Whites scored two more contenders for try of the season, Bath proved too much in the second half helped by a worryingly porous defence. We chat through the game, the performances and highlight the possible reasons for the continued issues with the defence.
We also discuss Glos-Hartpury's win away to Quins, the Red Roses back to back triumphs in the WXV and preview the Leicester game on Saturday

After a week off because the Internet in Northern Cyprus is a little temperamental, we are back to discuss the superb if nerve jangling win over Bristol Bears followed by the slightly disappointing defeat away to Sale (despite securing two bonus points). The lads chat through the vast improvements seen in our attacking play, picking out the notable performances and players while also addressing the continued nagging issue of the defence (which is average at best).
We also discuss the start of Glos-Hartpury's bid for a Three-peat of title wins, the fall out from the shock resignation of the head of PWR and preview the Gloucester Bath match this weekend.

There was a genuine if not tempered sense of optimism ahead of Gloucester's first league game of the season. But a youthful Saracens side were far too savvy and clinical leaving the Cherry and Whites with only a try bonus point.
We chat through our thoughts on the game, what went wrong, what might be the easy fixes and whether the optimism we all had was simply misplaced on this occasion or wildly delusional.
We also discuss why Jim's ears are bleeding in The Shed and why we all think we might scrape a couple of extra points away to Bristol on Friday.
Gloucester lost out in the last pre-season game up in Edinburgh but all indications are the team and management are happy with the progress and performance. We chat through where we see the first block of fixtures going, the potential of a 'surprise' win over Saracens this weekend and the danger for George Skivington if things don't go well.
We also discuss the Red Roses impressive win over the Black Ferns at Twickenham, the joys of South African rugby supporters and their social media presence plus the recent rumours around potential talks of a merger between the URC and the Premiership.

As we slowly get ready for the 2024/25 Premiership Season to start, we begin this week with a review of the Summer Rugby including the Olympic Sevens and England's tour of New Zealand. We then chat through the rumours and news around Gloucester - including some of the little frustrations we have had in the last couple of weeks, the Challenge Cup and Prem Cup opponents.
Finally we talk through the Red Roses straightforward win over a disappointing French side at Kingsholm.

We are back and we start this season and series with an interview between Ed and former Gloucester Rugby CEO Lance Bradley.
They chat about the challenges of running a Sports business, the difference and surprises compared to the Automotive industry; guiding the club through COVID and probably the toughest times in the teams history, the growth of Women's Rugby and the rise of Gloucester-Hartpury before discussing Welsh Rugby, the Ospreys and their stadium move and the future of the club game more generally.

The final pod of the season and a big thank you for sticking with us!
A great one to finish on as Gloucester-Hartpury win their second consecutive PWR title, beating Bristol Bears in an exciting encounter down at Sandy Park. We discuss the day, the game and the after party!
We also chat about the failure of GB Sevens men to reach the Olympic games in Paris and England's impressive win over Japan in Tokyo.
