This week on Cherry Street Chat, we're talking to three members of Hui O Nani Hawai'i Club, a club for the SU Hawai'i community. The club is putting on its 63rd (!!) annual Lū'au event on campus, which sold out within the hour this year. It's one of the most popular events on campus, and it takes a ton of work to put together. Nathan Shiraki, the Lū'au logistics chair, Lauren Marie Jose, the club historian, and Kylie Wong, the Lū'au food co-chair, sit down with Caleb to talk about this event and about the club. We also learn a fun fact that even the most dedicated CSC listeners have never before heard: Caleb is from Minnesota! We've never heard him mention that on an episode before, can you believe it??
Lū'au is sold out but it will be on April 26 in the Campion Ballroom, and you can learn more on Instagram @suhuionani
