Sunday, December 15, 2024 - Philippians 4:10-22 | Paul’s letter closes with a thankful asterisk. The Philippians have fully supplied him but the fullness he finds is from somewhere else. In fact, even if he had nothing, Paul says he could do everything he has been sent to do. This is the power supplied to him - and us.

Sunday, December 8, 2024 - Philippians 4:1-9 | Paul urges us to stand firm in faith, be united, and always rejoice. He encourages us to let go of anxiety by bringing everything to God in prayer, trusting in His peace. Paul also reminds us to focus on what is good and live out what we’ve learned, knowing God’s peace is with us.

Sunday, December 1, 2024 - Philippians 3:12-21 | We are citizens of heaven, not tourists or visitors. Yet we didn’t grow up in this Kingdom, so there’s a lot to learn. Thankfully, as we find communities of believers, we find teachers, mentors, and partners in Christ to help learn from and learn with. 

Sunday, November 24, 2024 - Philippians 3:1-11 | We’re taught to be vigilant for things that can harm us. But what if the things that really harm us are the things we’re told are good and worth spending our lives striving for? Things often seem backward under the Kingship of Jesus. What looks like loss may actually be our greatest gain. 

Sunday, November 17, 2024 - Philippians 2:12-30 | Salvation through faith in Jesus is more than an event that happens in our lives. Our moment of surrender is when God goes to work. He is transforming us from the inside-out into beacons of light in a dark world. This transformation has one big obstacle right at the center, though - us. 

Sunday, November 10, 2024 - Philippians 2:1-11 | Maybe you’ve heard it said that “attitude is everything.” Paul seems to agree. In one of the richest passages of the New Testament, our sights are lifted to the heavens as we’re encouraged to adopt the attitude of Christ. One purpose - our purpose - is an attitude adjustment away.

Sunday, November 3, 2024 - Philippians 1:21-30 | Paul expresses his desire to be with Christ but knows his purpose is to help others grow in faith. He encourages us to live in a way that honors the Gospel, standing strong together and enduring hardships for Christ, knowing God is at work in our lives.

Sunday, October 27, 2024 - Philippians 1:12-20 | Beaten. Imprisoned. Harassed. It’s safe to say these are things we try to avoid. Paul encounters these circumstances while preaching the Gospel of Christ. Yet instead of seeing setbacks or defeat, Paul sees even more opportunity to advance the Good News. 

Sunday, October 20, 2024 - Philippians 1:1-11 | Paul shares his gratitude for the Philippians and encourages them, confident that God will complete the work He started in them. He prays for their love to grow in wisdom so they can live lives that reflect Christ.
