The movie and book titled "Jesus Revolution" has gained a lot of positive feedback from the Christian community, and reminds us there are ways to speak to the parts of each generation who aren't getting the Gospel message. Pastor Galen and Nathan Winters ask the question, "Who are the 'hippies' of our generation, and how can we reach them where they're at?"

Post Easter our Living Proof series — just like Brian Noel's story — turns from pain and darkness to hope, light and purpose. God calls us each according to our gifts, and Christ charged us to go out and use those gifts to spread the good news. So how do we realize our gifts, and how do we translate that into figuring out our purpose here on earth? Pastor Galen explores these questions in this eighth installment of Living Proof.

Mass shootings have become an almost weekly event. As a Christian, when we see things like a pastor's child becoming a victim, it can lead us to struggle even more with understanding. With our Easter series featuring some heavy subject matter, our staff got into some discussion about how we as humans deal with events or subjects that trigger responses we don't like, and how we can help ourselves deal with them.
