Mankind loves to add it's own baggage to the Gospel, or so Christian martyr Dietrich Bonhoeffer says. He was hung during World War II for standing up against Adolf Hitler's policies. If someone who needs the Truth only senses condemnation, they recoil, but if they are offered love and redemption, they may just reach out their hands and accept the Truth of Jesus Christ.

Without something protecting our feet from rocks, thorns (or cacti) it would be difficult to focus on the battle at hand. On May 14, 2022, our podcast guest Nathan Winters gave a speech to the Men's Breakfast at Cheyenne Hills Church. We were so struck by his presentation, we asked him permission to share it with our podcast audience. We hope you find it as enlightening and inspirational as we did.

The question facing our culture today is a simple question of which reality: Is God god? Or is Mankind god? Because if God is the Great "I Am," creator and king of the universe, then His Truth is the Absolute Truth. Even if it's inconvenient. And for those of use who know this Truth, how do we carry it?
