What does it really mean to submit to one another as in Christ? Erin Herrman delivers an detailed account of Ephesians 5:21-33. Along the way, she paints a picture of the social structure of an average Roman household to help us understand the dynamics of what the Scripture meant to its original audience. Ultimately, she challenges us to recognize how we can use the power we have to benefit God's upside down Kingdom.

We have spent the first half of the semester talking about how the book of Ephesians anchors us to know who we are in Christ, now with that identity in full view we are learning about how we are called to live differently.
