The Chick Chat Live season finale ends just as I imagined. Its an episode thats honest, contestable, funny, provoking and real all at the same time. My "single" co-hosts ('Dodo's Uvieghara, Nenesi Ibru, Initeme Adukeh) and I share our insights, experiences and vulnerabilities as women in Lagos . We speak about the rewards and (or) societal penalties we receive as "single" women. The episode addresses some of the emotional issues and societal consequences women are confronted with in the course of being "Single-By-Choice". We discuss fertility, why "single" women are "picky" and a whole lot more.

Its been a great journey with you all and it was a special birthday episode for me so I made sure to cut my cake and raised a toast! Whoop whoop!

On the first segment of Chick Chat Live, my guests (Beverly Naya, Makashe Awogboro, Andrea Giaccaglia) and I discuss friendships and envy. A question was asked to a group of panellists at a conference:

"When you are "doing better" than your friends and you detect envy as the issue, how do you handle it? " A panelist responded "It is your responsibility to carry your friends along, it is your responsibility to make sure nothing in you causes envy to rise in another" Do you agree?

The hot topic of the day deals with a wife who's caught her husband cheating with her family friend. The circumstances surrounding the affair make it difficult for the wife to react. When you know about an affair and you are not ready to leave? Is it necessary to "address" it each time? People tend to imply that infidelity demands an immediate reaction but it isn't always the case. Please judge the matter!

The story deals with a woman who is battling whether to confront her boyfriend's crazy ex-wife or leaving him to handle the situation. After several attempts to reach her ex-husband, a lady takes things to the extreme when she spots his new girlfriends children in his car coming home from school. She double crosses the car and seizes the keys instructing the driver to tell his boss to call her. The confused driver was forced to take the young kids (6 & 8 year olds) home on an Okada (local motorbike). The girlfriend was on her way to confront her when she is interrupted by her bestie's words of "wisdom" to let the man handle it instead.

On the first segment of the show, we talk emotions and grief. My guests (Aibee Abidoye, Frances Asemota and Adesua Etomi) share some of their emotional experiences.

This week we switched things up and instead of our Chick Chat hot topic, my guests and I share some life tips on dealing with 'the process'. Our generation has become so outcome driven and attached to social media standards of success. We talk about trusting the timing of your life and finding balance as you go through `'the process"

Chick Chat Hot Topic: "It No Longer Takes A Village to Raise A Child"

Two friends are in a dispute over a reactionary slap a child received after a misdemeanour. A poorly behaved little boy punches his mothers friend in the boobs at a mutual friends child's birthday party. He is met with an unintentional backhand that led him to tears and riled up his mother. The mother of the boy fails to admonish her child instead she turns on the friend for putting hands on her child. How do you respond when a child has a parent present who does not respond in a way that you are comfortable with?
