MidThoughtCrisis

Chicken Opinions No One Asked For

Listen Later

This episode opens with technical difficulties, which is impressive considering we’ve done this before and still haven’t learned anything.

From there, we immediately abandon any structure and drift through dog stories that were absolutely not funny at the time, family life updates no one asked for, and the kind of conversations that start with “real quick” and somehow last an hour.

Food becomes the main character. Specifically chicken. Florida has a ton of chicken places, most of them rely on sauce to do the heavy lifting, and we develop strong, unearned opinions about tenders, sandwiches, and why consistency is apparently impossible even within the same fast-food chain. Customer service frustrations surface, patience evaporates, and we relive the universal experience of waiting way too long for food that was supposed to be “fast.”

Spicy food shows up. Peppers are discussed like classified information. Parenting choices around food are questioned. Briefly, we acknowledge hunting and wildlife topics before immediately losing interest and circling back to whatever felt more important at the moment.

Nothing is researched.
Nothing is resolved.
Several thoughts are abandoned halfway through.

This is not an informative episode.
This is not a helpful episode.

It is a very honest look at what happens when two people talk too long without stopping themselves.

If you’re here for polished takes or expert insight, this was a mistake.

If you enjoy sarcasm, bad food opinions, and conversations that absolutely could’ve ended sooner — congratulations, you’ve found your people.
