We kicked off a brand new week on Jay & Laney J LIVE with a packed Monday show!

We started things off with our monthly visit from Chief Morrison, who joins us on the first Monday of every month. We talked about what’s been going on locally, shared some important safety reminders, and gave listeners a chance to stay informed about what’s happening in the community.

From there, we jumped into some trending topics, including the return of WKRP call letters to Cincinnati, which sparked some fun nostalgia about classic radio and TV shows.

We also discussed new research showing soda taxes may not be changing fast food habits, and how convenience plays a big role in what people choose to eat and drink.

We also mixed in some fun This or That questions and a classic food debate with National Caramel Popcorn Day.
