Dr. Sharen Ford is Director of Foster Care and Adoption with Focus on the Family and speaks expertly into this important topic of protecting our children. Statistics state 1 in 4 children are subjected to some sort of abuse.  Dr. Ford also shared that most children are not removed from homes due to abuse. They are removed due to neglect. Both are unacceptable. Children are the future and how we care for them impacts our world.
