“Children inspire me,” Gussie Lewis says
Medical research scientist Gussie Lewis, a member of the DeForest Area School Board since 2021, is running for the Dane County Board this spring.
An open race after the DeForest area’s incumbent supervisor Maureen McCarville decided not to run for another term, Lewis faces one opponent in Stephen Ratzlaff Jr. District 22 voters will elect their next supervisor on April 7th.
Lewis told our News Producer Faye Parks last week that her experience on the school board would make her an effective leader in county government.
