A tremendous mine fire has been burning beneath the small mining town of Centralia, PA since May of 1962.  This epic underground fire did not only destroy the town physically, but emotionally, as it tore apart a tight-knit community, divided by a series of poor decisions and bureaucratic bullsh*t.
