She was 8 when she faced sexual violence for the first time. She thought if that makes him happy, let's continue. She "tried" sharing it with her parents, but it was in vain. She visited our office, to share the story of her childhood sexual abuse. Travelled from far away just to raise her voice with a stranger. When she was sharing about the night when it happened, there was numbness in her voice. Her voice was fading down. She was sharing her story of sexual abuse when she was just 8 years old. She is raising her voice to break the bubble of silence and you? Every voice matters.
