Chill Takes

First Isaac and Chili discuss Ben Simmons the socialite. What should Philadelphia do with him? Is the fan criticism of him fair or too far? Then they talk about the New York Mets relationship with their fans. Please like this podcast but if you don’t Isaac and I are giving you a metaphorical thumbs down.

Isaac makes his triumphant return to the podcast this week and he’s his usual upbeat self! And why not?!? The Yankees are on an absolute tear right now, while the Jays had an awful road trip putting their season in Jeopardy. The boys then delve into the NBA offseason, highlighting the moves made by the Knicks, Raptors, Lakers and Clippers. This week’s episode is brought you by Maine. A special place where Isaac can go to get away from it all.. all being the fame he’s gained form doing this podcast.

No Isaac this week! So Chili brought in his old pal Brogan to break down all the craziness that was the MLB Trade Deadline. Brogan also shares stories about his days as a CFL Mascot. And the boys tell tales of their recent trip to the Rogers Centre! Today we’re sponsored by Dugout Deals! “It’s hard to find us at the Rogers Centre and the beers are a lot smaller, but it’s a heck of a lot cheaper than the other beers!”

After Chili takes a quick tinkle, the boys breakdown the NBA finals and each of the key players performances. They then share their predictions on the future of the NBA’s top free agents and how the number 4 pick in the draft will effect the Raptors lineup! This week’s pod is sponsored by Chick Fil A’s chicken nuggets: available exclusively for NBA finals MVPs.

Isaac and Chili welcome in Isaac’s buddy Max to draft a team of players in which we believe disappointed us this post-season. There are some hot takes and some hurt feelings, but overall we feel like this is the most upsetting team we could've put together.

It’s patio season on Chill Takes baby! First, Isaac and Chili debate how many people is too many to be in your patio party. Then they give some quick Chill Takes on the NBA playoffs. And finally Chili’s brother Kirby comes back on the pod to discuss the MLB cheating scandal and what it means for the future of baseball. This week we’re sponsored by jigsaw puzzles. Play them before they’re gone again!

It's a somber mood on Chill Takes this week as Isaac and Chili welcome NHL experts/disgraced Leaf fans Patrick and Paolo. Not only are they sad because the Leafs lost, but Chili forgot to hit the record button for the first hour. Whoops. Paolo tell us about the curse. Patrick teaches Chili what a muffin means and they both tell us why they'll never stop loving the boys in blue.

It’s almost playoff time in the NBA and Isaac is very excited about his Knicks. The boys welcome Isaac’s New York buddy Marcelo Suhl to talk all things Knicks and Marcelo comes in hot! He takes a lot of shots at the Brooklyn Nets and is very excited for future of the Knicks franchise. Chili talks a little Raptors, but let’s be honest who cares right now? We’re sponsored by Charmin this week baby! Enjoy the go!

It’s just Isaac and Chili this week but it gets hot! The boys start by discussing their feelings of languishing. Then Isaac talks about how great it is to finally have a Knicks team worth cheering for. Chili highlights the Raptors new editions and what it means for the future. And finally Chili confronts Isaac about Yankee fans throwing things on the field and Isaac does not take it well! It's all sponsored by Mary Brown’s Chicken cause these boys need their chicken stat!

This week Chili's bestie/adult Bully Isaac Towell drops by the podcast to put Chili in his place! They talk Isaac T.'s never-dying love for the Maple Leafs and the Leaf's chances in the post-season. Then Isaac C. digs up some of Isaac T's old facebook posts and Chili eats some raw chicken!
