Hey y’all! Welcome back for a special edition of Chill Time With A’Ja! For the remaining Sundays of the year I’m going to be putting out a short but hopefully very encouraging episode of encouragement, inspiration, and prayer. I felt the Lord leading me to do this and I wanted to make sure that I did get some episodes out for y’all before 2025 ended!

This week’s episode and encouragement is coming from Philippians 4:13. I dive into some inspiration and end with a prayer! I’m going to include the same prayer that I did in the episode itself, but I’m going to leave a few spots that say (fill in name) for y’all to be able to personalize it! Lord,

Thank you that when my strength fails and my understanding collapses at the uncertainty of what I’m facing, that I (fill in name) can call upon you to help me in my desperate need for rescue. Thank you Lord that when the trials, obstacles, setbacks, and delays of life come and try to stop my advancement for what you have for me, I (fill in name) can turn to you and find rest. Just like your Word says In Philippians 4:13 “ I (fill in name) can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Thank you Lord for your strength. In Jesus name Amen

Hey y’all welcome back to episode 12 of the podcast! This week is actually the last episode for season 1 and will also wrap up our two part series on spiritual warfare. It has been a great first season and I hope y’all have enjoyed it and learned something as well!

For today’s discussion I go into each piece of the armor of God and give a brief summary over what each piece represents and how it can and should be applied to our life! I didn’t use any articles for this episode but rather I allowed the Holy Spirit to guide me on what to say and how to say it!

I’m learning that God gives us as individuals different points to make and we should allow the Holy Spirit to speak through us! I’m going to try my best for the next season to have more of my personal perspective and use what the Lord has showed me about the topic! I still will probably use articles at some point because I do value what the Lord gives others to say!

I didn’t mention this in the episode but I recently finished reading a book about spiritual warfare and I think it is such a great read! I highly recommend looking into this book because the author gives such great insight into spiritual warfare and how it can look for us. The tittle of the book is called “ What about Spiritual Warfare?” It’s by Douglas J. Rumford.
