We talk about being an artist on Instagram, what selling prints at trade shows can be like and how he manages the business side of things. In this episode, I interview Jacob who is the captain of a local rugby team. He explains how he found his passion for rugby and the bond that is found on and off the field. As this interview took place during the isolation, he has had to have patience and still motivate his team while their season is placed on hold. We talk fitness, the commitment this sport requires and what it will look like for him once team sports are free to play again.

In this episode, I interview my older sister Laura Alexis. As someone who usually has her social calendar full of concerts and music festivals, she shares show she has adjusted to the current state of "shelter in place." While she currently lives in San Francisco, she also explains her move from her home in Texas while working in sales and tech. She is passionate about work-life balance and the way music can bring a community together. Tune into my sister and I chatting about isolation, raving in our living rooms and the importance of tunes.

In this episode, I speak with my boss Natasha. Tash is an avid lover of entertaining, fitness, food and drink, family and holidays. She is the Managing Director at an events company who enjoys her busy social calendar which has required a lot of adjustment while self-isolating. We reflect on her world travels, close friendship circle and the importance of being present. Check it out for a lot of laughs and boozy stories. 

This podcast was inspired by self-isolation and long-distance hangs. I am a native Texan living in the UK and I’m familiar feeling little disconnected. I'm taking this opportunity to learn a little bit more about my friends and their exciting interests: we talk about the value of community, mental health, photography, producing podcasts, Animal Crossing, art... if I know them, I want to I interview them. Here’s what’s coming up next!

In this episode, I speak with my best friend Michael. He is a native Houstonian who shares what it's like to isolate in the city he loves dearly.
