With lawmakers having already worked towards banning it in schools today's Donkey has pulled her child out of public school because of how an inclusion curriculum has been introduced in her school regarding Black and Mexican history in America. She implies that the books introduced have lessons that are anti-American, anti-white, and Anti-Mexican teachings.

Lawyer: 'We are going to bring 100 Black pastors' to Arbery death trial; defense attorney offers apology..🤔 A defense attorney in the trial of the killing of Ahmaud Arbery offered "my apologies" early Friday morning after fallout from his comments including the line, "We don't want any more Black pastors coming in here," a day prior.

Kevin Gough, the attorney for William "Roddie" Bryan, had asserted during a break on Thursday that figures, such as Al Sharpton, sitting with Arbery's family at the trial would be "political" and "intimidating" to the jury.Gough said "we have all kinds of pastors in this town" and asserted the family should only have a limited number of representatives with them. "The idea that we're gonna be serially bringing these people in to sit with the victim's family one after another, obviously there's only so many pastors they can have," he said. "And if their pastor is Al Sharpton right now, that's fine, but then that's it - we don't want any more Black pastors coming in here... Jesse Jackson, whoever was in here earlier this week sitting with the victim's family trying to influence the jury in this case."

That comment faced significant backlash on social media as well as one of Arbery family's advocates, civil rights attorney Ben Crump.

Crump, who worked on the George Floyd trial, tweeted 11Alive's clip of the moment on Friday morning and vowed to "bring 100 Black pastors to pray with the family next week."

He also issued a statement welcoming others who want to show their support to the family.

Thursday’s comment by Kevin Gough drew sharp criticism from the Rev. Al Sharpton, whom the defense attorney cited in asking the judge in the high-profile case to exclude African-American clergy. Gough told Superior Court Judge Timothy Walmsley that he was concerned Sharpton’s presence in court Wednesday was an attempt to intimidate the disproportionately white jury hearing the case. The jury was not in the courtroom when he made the remarks. Obviously there’s only so many pastors they can have," Gough said. “And if their pastor’s Al Sharpton right now that's fine, but then that’s it. We don’t want any more Black pastors coming in here ... sitting with the victim’s family, trying to influence the jurors in this case.”

Jason Sheffield, one of Travis McMichael's lawyers, told the judge he didn't notice any distractions caused by Sharpton, who sat in the back row of the courtroom gallery wearing a mask.

Gough said he didn't realize Sharpton had been there until after court had adjourned for the day.

Chicago Cop Who Killed Dad Pleading for Help Was Nearly Fired in 2018. A Chicago cop who shot and killed a Black man who had called 911 to say he was the victim of a domestic violence incident had a history of drinking and had been recommended for termination by his superintendent years before.

According to a redacted incident report released Wednesday by Chicago’s police oversight agency, responding officers arrived on the scene at 7:40 a.m. on Oct. 4 after Michael Craig, 61, told an operator that his wife was holding a knife to his throat as he lay in bed.

“I need the police over here, my wife’s got a knife on my neck, on the bed. Are there any officers coming here?” Craig told dispatchers, according to a recording of the call.

“My wife’s got a knife on me on the bed—right now, on my throat,” Craig said. “She’s got a knife on my neck, and I can’t move. If I move she’ll kill me. I’ve got the front door open, tell the officers the door is open, my kid is opening the door.”

. Two months ago, BLACK ENTERPRISE reported that a Black real estate agent and his clients were forced to exit a home during a home showing. Now, the men are taking action. A federal lawsuit has been filed against the Wyoming police department and the city, according to CNN.

Eric D. Brown, a West Michigan REALTOR, was showing a home to his client, Roy Thorne, and his client’s 15-year-old son Samuel. During the tour, the men noticed that police cars were surrounding the home. Brown, his client, and the teenage boy exited the home. Instead of having the opportunity to explain themselves, they were met with several guns pointed in their direction. The men were immediately placed in handcuffs and stripped of their rights. They were thrust into the police vehicle and silenced. It wasn’t until Brown had a chance to prove his real estate credentials that the men were set free.

BLACK STUDENTS SUSPENDED FOR CONFRONTING WHITE KIDS WHO SENT RACIST SNAPCHAT VIDEO. A group of Black students at Yulee High School in Florida have been suspended after confronting two white students who recorded a racist video. The white students faced no disciplinary action. The video, which has since gone viral, shows two white boys – one wearing a white hood – using the n-word. According to News4Jax, the video was sent to several Black students at Yulee via Snapchat, but the sender was not one of the two students in the clip.

The students who received the video then approached the boys who recorded it on campus, which resulted in what parents are calling unfair disciplinary action.

“The district was made aware of a video that was recorded this summer but just recently sent on Snapchat to several Yulee High School students,” said Mark Durham, Assistant Superintendent of Instruction for Nassau County Public Schools. “The video contained racial slurs and images. It resulted in a physical altercation involving several students. Disciplinary actions consistent with the district’s code of conduct have been given to students involved in the altercation and in sending the Snap Chat [sic] video.”

The two boys in the video were not suspended, WJCT reports. When several football players at the school threatened to skip last week’s homecoming game in protest of the way their classmates were treated, Yulee principle Yvon Joinville told them that doing so would forfeit their spot on the team for the rest of the season.

At least three people are dead and 27 were injured in shootings at Halloween parties across the country this weekend, authorities confirmed

In an overnight shooting at a suburban Chicago Halloween party, two people were killed and more than a dozen were injured, authorities said Sunday. A patrol sergeant heard roughly a dozen gunshots after 12:30 a.m. in Joliet, Illinois, which is about 45 miles southwest of Chicago, according to the Will County Sheriff’s Office. 

The sergeant went to a home and found more than 100 people fleeing a party. Additional officers arrived and found victims in the backyard and at nearby homes, and more shots were heard nearby, authorities said. 

The Will County Sheriff’s Office said more than a dozen people were hospitalized. Two were confirmed dead and four others were seriously hurt. Police estimated about 200 people attended a Halloween party at the home and the shooting occurred outside near a DJ booth set up in the backyard.
