The other day I asked what you wanted me to discuss and talk about on the podcast and one of my favourite subjects came up: building new habits and being consistent with them. It is something I have been working on myself for a long time so I know the struggle and wanted to share my number one tip that will change the way you approach consistence completely and help you become more consistent in a healthier way.
Remember that episode where I shared my Impossible Goal? Here is this April month's personal update on how it is going and what I am planning for this next month of May. I hope this helps, gives you any insight, or at least makes you not feel alone in that messy middle part of chasing your dreams.
Liefs,
Yara
Building on the last episode on the importance of rejection I wanted to share with you my 5 steps to deal with rejection in a healthy and constructive way. It is easier said than done and as you'll hear in the episode I have personally been struggling with this literally as we speak but I hope that 1. you know you're not alone & 2. you feel inspired to look at the way you deal with rejection and give these five steps a try next time. As always, I would LOVE to hear from you about what you took away from this episode and if you have any tips that help you get through rougher periods of time. Hope you have a lovely day!
This episode is a first of three about rejection resilience and today I dive into why it is so important to check in with yourself and see where your Rejection Resilience is at currently. I genuinely believe that becoming more resilient to rejection is essential to chasing your dreams and achieving your big goals. Hope you enjoy today's episode and would love to hear your thoughts & insights so hop on over to Instagram (@yaramiora) and lets chat!
As I hit publish last week I felt a feeling I know all too well. And in the past that feeling may have stopped me in my tracks and made me quit projects too many times to count. This time I want to share openly with you what it feels like to share something publicly, and how you can still do things when feeling vulnerable and scared. I can't wait to hear what you think of today's episode and if you recognise yourself in it a little too. Hope you have lovely day!
Recently I realised that a lot of the choices I have made in my adult life don't reflect my hopes and dreams. If anything, looking back I see how I decide from a place of fear, looking for a sense of security. Personally, I want a life that genuinely feels good to me and I am I'm not talking about toxic positivity here but in the grand scheme of things, shouldn't we all feel good about our life, how it is and where it is going?
If you've been telling yourself you want to read more books, but haven't taken any action on that yet, this episode is for you! I tell you a little bit about how I collected over a seventy books over the years without reading a single page of them and how I actually changed that after setting myself an impossible goal at the beginning of this year. I hope this episode inspires you to pick up a book and start developing the reading habit that you want. Give it a listen, and let me either on my blog (Here!) or on Instagram (Here!) if this episode helped in some way. You can also share your favourite book, what you are reading at the moment and what goal you are setting for yourself. I'd LOVE to cheer you on!
In today's episode I talk about a subject one of my friends asked me to talk about. She asked me how to go about not having a romantic relationship even though you really want one. I recognize this can be a tough subject, and one many probably feel very alone in, I sometimes do too. And I guess that makes it all the more important to talk about it honestly and share. It can be painful to see the people around you settle and feel like you have the "forever-single-friend" label tattooed on your forehead, believe me I know. But I've come to a more peaceful mindset about it and hope that after listening to this episode you will too. Or at least you won't feel alone in the single people club. Give it a listen, and let me either on my blog (Here!) or on Instagram (Here!) know how you feel or if you have something else you'd love to hear me talk about. I would love to hear from you!
