This chapter isn’t about arriving in China yet — it’s about the difficult decisions, uncertainty and emotional weight that came before stepping on the plane.

After securing flights far in advance, the reality of booking accommodations collided with an unexpected opportunity in my acting career. Balancing professional growth, personal dreams and commitments to friends turned preparation into a stressful and confusing process. Excitement, anxiety, frustration and hope all existed at the same time.

This episode is about risk, timing and understanding that trips don’t always begin with excitement alone.
