This is the first episode of our new and improved series approach where Phil and I will be providing you guys a focused and in-depth analysis about either a country, region, person, or foreign policy idea that is important and affecting what is going on in our globalized and international world. The first series we are conducting is a series on China, examining its role and approaches to various issues surrounding the world and examining how others have viewed China and react to it. This first episode of the series will focus on China’s approaches to Latin America and Chinese Fishing off the coasts of independent countries and their EEZ's with Mr. Joshua Hyles, who has degrees from both Baylor and Auburn University and the author of the book “Guiana and the Shadows of Empire.” We hope you all enjoy it!
