We had to get Quin back on after 131 episodes since her last one. Since the last pod she has had another child join the family so we definitely talk parenting and being a mum. But also we talk leading, marriage and why it's important to just be a Christian.
It was time to get the yearly update from Lewis. It was such fun that time flew but it was great to hear Lewis' on the impact of the internet on his generation, where he's at with college, and how he's learnt to lean on God even more.
We chat to Stu from MCC who's example of hard work and faithfulness is a great example to us all. We also find out what God taught him through being a chef, owning his own business and what's important in life.
Tim comes in as a guest host as we re-record the seemingly cursed podcast episode of Matt Baker (in reality Joel just stuffed up last time!). It was cool to talk to Matt about his journey with God, from being bullied in primary school, becoming a Christian, working in university ministry, Bible college, church ministry and more!
It was so cool to have Josh on the podcast this week. We loved his honesty, vulnerability and thoughtfulness. Also hear about how he thinks about ministry, burnout, social anxiety and why it's so important to commit.
The episode has been a long time coming. He's known as Stephen or Stefano, but you'd most likely know him as Sidey. We chat about growing up, Christian Surfers, making choices to become more mature in the faith, skateboarding, work and ministry.
We had the pleasure of having our Week Away '24 speaker Anthony come on the podcast to hear how Jesus has changed everything in him.
A carload of pastors driving down to Week Away are joined by a skulk of 7 Linfoxes, a broken microphone (sorry for Brayden sounding like a quiet robot) and a sublime new sponsor. Ride with us all the way to Waterslea with our 2024 Week Away Companion podcast.
Optional stops that we don’t take include, but are not limited to: Symbio, Treetop Rainforrest Walk, Lazer Tag, The end of the rainbow
It is time to hear Ethan full story. Sit back and relax as we delve into the life of someone who God brought into the world against all the doctors' advice and he how he lives in light of that.
Trudi comes on the podcast to talk about learning to be good enough, following God's plans, teaching and serving, and following God's call to Ethiopia.
