Chiropractic is losing the battle of healthcare in society. This is because we have substituted marketing for real education of the chiropractic message to our communities.  We have some amazing tools available to us that generations before have never had. Yet, we still fail to use them for educational purposes, instead choosing to use them to only market these tool for short term gains. 

Nothing sends much of the Chiropractic profession into a panic more than hearing the words, "One Cause, One Correction, One Cure. In this newly released episode of Chiro Rants Dr. Bobby explains what the true meaning of this phrase is and why it's both correct, and misunderstood.

More young doctors are opening offices without x-rays. Only of few of these are because they utilize a technique that does not use x-ray in their analysis. Most are skipping x-rays due to a business model, or a lack of training during school. We rant on this issue in this episode and talk about the issues that can arise from not using x-rays in chiropractic.

There is a weakness in only depending on the dogma of chiropractic that can actually interfere with your ability to embrace the philosophy of chiropractic. Philosophy can offer strength, while dogma leads to weakness. 

Many chiropractors and chiropractic students have drifted into the treatment mode in their practices. This means doing a much as possible to treat the various conditions and problems that people come to us with. Chiropractic has traditionally been a non-treatment based healthcare system that deals with correction of nerve interference, called subluxation, to allow the body to heal itself. Dr. Bob discusses the pitfalls of falling into a treatment-based practice. 

Chiropractic students just do not join chiropractic organizations. The student memberships in state and national chiropractic associations are low, in spite of the fact that student dues are very affordable, and these associations are vital to the survival and future grow of the chiropractic profession. But is it the students’ fault? Dr. Bob points the finger elsewhere. 

Is chiropractic changing from a specific service of correction of subluxations to a service of manipulation when the patient feels they need to get "popped"?  Dr. Bob discusses the issues of chiropractic becoming a casual adjusting service instead of a life-changing specific science. 

Chiropractic education during a pandemic presents a new series of challenges. This podcasts explores those challenges from the student perspective. 

While some states have gone to online CE requirements, some still have not. If the state of federal government is telling you to limit group gathering size, why are they forcing chiropractors and other groups to be in a room for hours on end? Dr. Bobby Braile rants about the absurdity of CE overall, and especially in a pandemic. 

Dr. Bobby reports on, and discusses a recent story that made the news where a chiropractic office was shut down, and 300 people who visited that office were told to quarantine, all because one staff person tested positive, and mask use was "inconsistent"  as reported by news stories. This episode looks a an entirely different reason to consider wearing a mask - keeping your business open.
