Self care is when you provide attention to your psychological and emotional wellbeing. Self care is based on increased self-awareness, which benefits many people. It can help you identify patterns in your emotions, and recognize what activities and tasks are necessary for your wellbeing, lessen negative symptoms of mental illnesses or just bring you pleasure and relaxation
is the confidence you have in yourself, your value, and your abilities. It’s your self-respect, self-confidence, and dignity. In this episode, I talk about respecting yourself and how I began to feel comfortable with who I was. In today's society, we measure ourselves against each other and need to feel special or above average in order to feel good about ourselves. In reality, self worth is about who you are, not what you do. I discuss how we can go about reclaiming our faith and happiness within ourselves.

Society’s definition of beauty manipulates the beholder. Attractiveness is a fickle thing and has been different throughout time periods and in different cultures. From a young age, we've been conditioned into believing that there is a certain standard of attractiveness which we should all aspire to reach by changing our bodies and our features. Today I'm here to talk about how beauty has been connected to power, status, and desirability. We'll also discuss how this toxic beauty has influenced the beauty and cosmetic procedures industry, and how, by using upward comparisons, women and men have an altered body perception, beauty bias, and eating disorders. I end this topic with some advice for the journey ahead, where you'll have to try to learn to accept yourself again.
