After a break for the A-League offseason, we are back again talking football and as we lead up to the season the clubs have begun to launch their kits - we've seen some absolute beauties and one or two that are questionable. We give our early A-League predictions for the exciting season under the new broadcast deal with Channel 10 and Paramount+ and also touch on the opening rounds of the Premier League. Ed is a huge PSG fan, so we question their struggle to start the season.
The EURO's have finished, and what a final game it was to wrap off an insanely entertaining tournament! Messi has finally achieved is first major international trophy with Argentina, which could put to bed the GOAT debate forever. With the A-League off season in full swing, there are plenty of signings, departures and rumours to talk through as well.
The A-League has reached its' last match of the season, the Grand Final, which sees Melbourne City take on Sydney FC - a rematch of last season. Sydney will be looking to complete the 3-peat, while City look to win their first ever A-League Grand Final. We take a look at how our season predictions stacked up, and chat about the previous rounds of the finals. We also take a look at the EURO 2020 group stages so far, who has surprised us, who has shocked us and who we think could win it all. It has been a while between episodes, but we hope you enjoy!
We're back after almost a month to discuss the key highlights and news from the A-League and Champions League. Adelaide and Melbourne City continue their fine form, while the Victory get their first win in a while. The race for the finals is heating up, with the final spot up for contention between a number of clubs. In the Champions League we saw PSG defeat last years champions, Bayern Munich, while Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester City win their ties to advance to the Semi Finals. The Battle of the Bottle Jobs between City and PSG, while a tough and close encounter is expected between Chelsea and Real Madrid. As always we wrap up with some fan favourite trivia!
We take a look back at three weeks worth of action in the A-League, as Central Coast continue their strong start to the season and other clubs begin to build some momentum.
