Like many of us, Brande characterizes her labor as traumatic. Induced at 37 weeks due to Cholestasis, she was in labor for five days before receiving an epidural. After birth she suffered from PPD which led to suicidal ideation. She credits her pilates practice and community for helping her out of that time. We also chat about hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s.
