Chombita Chronicles #Afrolatinx

Exciting news! Just in time for Panamanian Heritage Month this May, I have a new podcast episode dropping soon! It feels like perfect timing, a beautiful alignment of energy. I'm thrilled to be joined by the incredibly talented Chef and soon-to-be Dr. Yadira Stamp!

Chef Yadira Stamp is a Panamanian culinary expert specializing in authentic Panamanian cuisine. Author of the wonderful cookbook "Panama on a Plate," Chef Yadira shares over 50 of her most beloved recipes, including fantastic gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Her cooking beautifully blends the vibrant flavors of Latin America and the Caribbean, featuring popular dishes like empanadas, tamales, and plantains.

Also, a bit about me: Yovy Daniels, founder of Alkiria Media Branding Consulting, will discuss her mission to advocate for Afrolatinx stories and the importance of representation. I'm passionate about female empowerment, higher education, and emotional intelligence. Through university lectures, I aim to highlight the Afro-Latinx experience and its contributions to pop culture, along with focusing on social justice. As a producer, host of two podcasts, and native Spanish speaker, I'm thrilled to participate. Please note that the views expressed by guests, sponsors, or me may not necessarily align with the policies of ALKIRIA MEDIA PRODUCTIONS, LLC.

Hello 👋 my wonderful people! If you want to get to know me better, here I am. I've always been curious about finances; I even almost became an accountant at one point. Like many immigrants, my family’s story, like that of many families coming to the United States, also includes the trauma of starting over. In this country, everything works with credit, and my good friend Piero Núñez, a banker, decided to give us some lessons on how to save money and invest. Listen to this episode and tell me what you think and whether the tips were helpful to you!

Hola mi Gente Hermosa y Fabulosa - Aqui estamos devuelta con una nueva edición con mi gran amigo y mas conocido como el Hijo Nativo, Manuel Mendez. El preside the Afrolatino Caucus association en el DMV. Manuel Mendez is a scholar filmmaker and documentary expert. El tiene un podcast las Caras Lindas” which means “beautiful faces” in Spanish. It’s a popular song describing all the beautiful black people faces in Latin America by the well known songwriter and singer Ismael Rivera.

On this episode podcast we deal with today’s social stresses, immigration injustices and more much.

Coming back to Caras Lindas podcast, hosts Manuel Mendez and Gyselle Garcia explore the intersection of blackness in Latinx communities by shedding light on the neglected and untold stories of Afro-Latinx people.
