I wanted to know why. So I invited Addisu Deresse, the founder of The African Time, to explain the inaccuracies he has seen reported by CNN, BBC, and Al Jazeera. We talked about the challenges of reporting a balanced perspective, the importance of following journalism principles, and the impact that biased stories create.

We also discussed real examples that we both saw during the recent conflict in Ethiopia where information was reported wrongly and the impact it had on the ground.
