It is best to wake up and pray before daybreak. In prayer, our primary focus shouldn’t be our problems/needs, it should be knowing the will of God for our lives.

Prayer should be an opportunity to seek the mind of the Spirit. We miss out on the true importance of prayer if all we do is tell God our desires, ambitions, and needs.

If it is the Holy Spirit leading us, She decides where go and what we pursue, not us. The more you understand what it means to be led by the Spirit, the less you plan and schedule. Submit your will and ambitions to the Holy Spirit, rather than imposing it on Her.
