This is an episode of firsts! First drag queen movie. First incredibly long title. And first road trip movie. We discuss it all!
3 Generations is our first “feel good” movie. This brings up a lot of issues of identity, but doesn’t ultimately question or directly answer them. Still, there’s plenty of catharsis to go around. And the cast is to die for! The only death in this one is a former name.
This week (on a bit of a timey-wimey episode) we review an odd one: a comedy that faces cancer. Plenty of banter and discussions of facing mortality while also trying to live some sort of life. This episode has the weirdest answer to “how gay is this?” yet.
The thrilling conclusion to a Fiction Improv piece William and Josie started long ago, in the Before Times. Check out Episode 1 if you want the full story! There’s not as much music, so it’s different.
More LGBT movie reviews next week!
In this Fiction Improv episode, Josie is joined by Terri. They both combine elements of Parks and Rec & Star Wars, creating Park Wars! Thank you for listening. Another movie review will be up next week.
