Description: This podcast course reviews Hodson’s Cycle Approach. It explains who it is for, how to implement it, and how to choose and use appropriate target words for your speech therapy sessions. 1 clock hour of continuing education credit (Introductory Level, Professional Area).

As a result of this presentation the participant will be able to:

1. identify who the cycles approach is appropriate for.
2. make a list of the primary patterns of the cycles approach.
3. identify characteristics of appropriate target words for a specific primary pattern in the cycles approach.
4. tell how to use chosen target words with the cycles approach in a therapy session.
