See them for their standing before God?

Do you see people and see their hopelessness?

Their brokenness?

Their lostness?

Do you see people and say they desperately need a savior?

Do you see the many souls in Riverside that move about

And as the area keeps expanding,

do you see those souls and wonder about their spiritual condition?

In this Sermon, we are urged to rescue the perishing and to care for the dying.

As we begin another journey around the sun, we can be certain of a few things. That the seasons of life will accompany this year, just like they accompanied last year. We're going to have highs and lows. We'll experience joys and sorrows. hardships and failures, success, discouragement, disappointment. We're going to celebrate life and we're going to mourn death. Sickness and health. Relationships will be built and relationships will be broken. We'll experience laughter and tears. Storms will rise and they will be calm. Mountains will be conquered and valleys will overwhelm us. And in all this, your view of God will have a bearing on how you approach this year and how you approach life and how you face the different seasons that will come this year.

Salvation is not dependent on the redeemability of the sinner but on the redeeming power and love of the Savior. Dear listener, no one, no matter how far gone or hopeless, is beyond redemption.
