Last time we saw the sins of Eli’s sons. This week the focus shifts to Eli, and the picture still remains a sinful and unfaithful one. Through God’s prophecy to Eli we will learn of things that dishonour God and provoke Him to anger. But through the ugliness of sin we will also see God’s faithfulness to His promises and to His people.
