This week, through Samuel’s farewell speech we will see the intersection between man’s sin, God’s grace, man’s responsibility and God’s sovereignty. Through the example of the people of Israel, we will be warned of the dangers of excusing sin. Through the example of Samuel, we will see the beauty of Christ and be encouraged by His steadfast faithfulness towards His people.

In it we will see the need for genuine repentance and faith and what a ministry built on that looks like. Through it we will celebrate that Jesus had the greater ministry than Samuel.
