Kaia Gettings is a poet and author of the upcoming book, of her poetry, SweetBitter. Kaia shares with Kylie her journey with writing, and parallel to that conversation, her journey with becoming more comfortable with herself, her thoughts, and her purpose. The two have a talk about the perks, and embarrassment, of using social media to propel your career; poetry’s place in today’s world; how writing can be used to help us communicate in a healthier way; and how we can use our “ugliness” to leave an authentic mark on the world.
