Chris and Reggie's Cosmic Treadmill

Today we resume our therapeutic mission with the "inconvenient" mutants of Krakoa - the Hellions!  They are at the Home for Foundlings in Omaha, NE with one goal - burn the place to the ground!

What'll happen, though - when they run into the new head of the household - the Goblyn Queen herself?

Also: Nanny's fallen... and she can't get up!

Today we wrap up the first story arc of this Dawn of X volume of Wolverine... and answer such questions as: "Wouldn't it be funny if... Magneto got completely wasted and had his helmet stolen?"

Spoiler Alert: No.  No, it wouldn't.

Who's ready for more Carnage in Carnelia?

Who's ready to meet a new Krakoan citizen?

Who's ready for this story arc to be over?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions - well, then I've got an issue for you.  Not much "meat" on the preverbal bone here, but a scene in this issue does facilitate my revisiting a well-worn X-Lapsed topic regarding altering mutants during the resurrection process (and otherwise).

Also: As always, some great and thoughtful listener mail

Welcome friends, to the new X-Lapsed "Sunday Special Series", wherein we're going to spend the next five weeks looking at Phoenix Resurrection: The Return of Jean Grey by Matthew Rosenberg and Friends.

This is a series I've been long curious about, and so I figured it was high time we get to the bottom of just how Jean Grey made her return.  So far, so good - this was an issue so strong that... I'm even tempted to go back revisit the 2016-2018 Blue and Gold era!

If you too are ResurreX-Lapsed, please consider joining me in this little reading endeavor!

Welcome back to From Claremont to Claremont: An X-Men Podcast, Episode 3!

Today, I am joined by Joe Crawford (@IowasJoe) to discuss the second chapter of - well, a storyline that really made me think the Shivas were going to be a hyooge deal going forward - Dreams of Gore aka. The Shiva Scenario!

Wolverine is still looking for clues to his origin... if only he could travel through time, and know that some questions probably don't need answering...

Also: The FCTC, Episode 3 "hook" continues, as Joe shares with us the "Soundtrack of his Life".  It's a great time as always - we hope you join us!

Today we go shopping for islands with the Master of Magnetism.  We also see him have to escape out the back-end of a Kraken.  It's yet another installment of Giant-Size, that may as well have been any old issue of X-Men (vol.5)!

Also - A great mailbag segment, that facilitates my sharing some of my more obsessive collecting habits.

Today we wrap up our time in Terra Verde - home of the violent "veg"!

Guess what -- we also kill the same couple of characters who keep getting killed in these books!  Your humble host is growing more and more tired.  X-Force also loses a member - it's "moral compass" no less!

All that, and I talk a whole lot about creators having "skin in the game" during the mailbag portion - which I hope doesn't ruffle too many feathers!  It's a good time as always - hop aboard and join us!

Journey with me into the mind of a mania--er, reality warping mutant.

Today, the New Mutants take a walk on the wild side... with, Wildside in order to give "good dreams" to a scared little girl who might just destroy an entire country.  All that, plus our DOX Magazine subplot keeps bubbling away!

Also: An X-Tended Mailbag, full of great analysis and discussion!

Welcome to the landmark seventy-fifth episode of X-Lapsed - which, is also, as luck would have it our third monthiversary, having started this little journey back on September 1!

Today, we're dealing with altered realities, Otherworld, and That Weirdo Jamie Braddock - and, somehow - I managed to have a really good time with it!  I also talk a bunch about the "Protect and Survive" PSAs from the late 70s/early 80s a whole lot.

Plus - Our usual x-cellent mailbag section!

Today we usher in the double-digits era for our Wave One Dawn of X books... starting with Marauders!  This is also a notable issue for being the first DoX book to hit the shelves after the current pandemic set in.  Can it possibly live up to the x-pectations of the starving X-Fandom?  Well... I suppose your mileage may vary.
