It is easy to see the danger but challenging to experience calm and security in the face of it. Today we look at a dramatic story in 2 Kings 6:8-23 that pictures what it is like to see God's protection, even deliverance, in the most frightening situations. It provides instruction and encouragement for us today.

It seems the world around us is full of uncertainty. Psalm 46 reminds us that God is loving, stable, and secure when all else seems daunting. The goal of this message is that we will be more encouraged to put our hope in God alone. In doing so, we will become more confident amidst the chaos.

When we work together, we can accomplish much more. For followers of Christ, that is more than a general truth. In Philippians, Paul teaches us that working together is an essential characteristic in the life of Christians.
